OT-To all radio listeners

How about a copy of every CD released by every major studio (there could be a list determined beforehand - make sure Frontiers and some other European outfits are on there) for a full year?

...or every Region 1 DVD released for a full year, including TV box sets, music, etc.?

Well, I think the "pay all the bills" thing would be a great one! (Wouldn't work if your stations listeners are all teenagers though )

A car- COOL! Always a good thing. Especially if it's a cool car

A really nice vacation ( with or without a concert involved) would be cool too. Once again, depending on where your listeners are. for instance- a trip to the Carribean is not a biggie down here. But a trip to say, Hawaii, Europe, Alaska would be. Or perhaps a "dream vacation"- winner chooses. That could work too!

Thanks for your input. Our station is a Classic Rock driven station with some blues thrown in. We are in Sioux Falls, SD, along the SD/MN border, population 150,000 and our core demo is male 25-54, but lately we have been seeing a huge turn in female numbers. We are looking at a promo next spring for "couples" thus where the "live free for a year" idea comes in very well. The car is a good idea, but our stations(there are six of us in our radio group) have been down that road. We've given a car/suv/classic cars, etc away every year for the past decade. It's kinda worn out it's welcome, so that is why are are looking for a new direction.

yea ang.. a radio station around here gave away a car last year... the winner took it to the dealer , and sold it for a few thousand less...

Well, then the *Trip* thing might work as well. A kind of " 1st/2nd Honeymoon of your dreams" kind of thing if you will. Either somewhere like Hawaii, or have the couple pick the destination. I know I'd tune your station in 24/7 to win something like that! ( btw- how strong IS your signal )
