Anyone know about this? Ed, have you already adjusted the league settings or are you planning to?

I like picking a DB, linebacker or Def End...but picking an entire defense is ok too.

Mmmmmmmmm....LOT of work that is.

No Joe it doesn't take much time at all. Couple hours on draft day. Then 15 or 20 minutes to make roster changes Sunday morning before kickoff. Other than that keeping an eye on the waiver wire. Sign up, it's fun!

Does it matter what your pre-rankings are if you do a live draft?

Yeah, I think if for some reason you can't make the live draft. It goes by your pre-rankings

So if someone is not there, when their pick comes up, it will go to the pre rankings?

Thanks

I am not picking defensive players. Offense is enough, then pick a kicker and team defense. Any league worth it's salt does it this way.

It's geeky enough poring through stats of offensive players. I ain't doubling my workload. RaiderFan gets it.

I like picking defensive players. I made a ton of points on the guys I had last year. I vote for using defensive players.

I can change the D. I just have u picking a LB, DE and lineman and then a Team D. As some suggested, some D players make alot of points.

Kinda like when Troy Polamalu picks of McNair 3 or 4 times in a game, gets you alot of points.

Shutting down the pansy ass Ravens all together as a Team D is even better and usually happens.

Let me know what I should do. Scrap the 4 d players or keep em'.....

Scrap them.
I actually like when scores are lower like real games. Games that finish 175 - 162? Meh, I like starting lineups that consist of : 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, K and team D. Just my preference. Can't wait for the draft!!!!

I am commissioner of my 'money' league at NFL.com. I tried to combine Team D's and Individual Defensive Players. The problem is that for most IDP's, tackles are their main source of points. When you allow tackles to be scored, it also allows them to be scored for Team D's. So every tackle made by every player gets credited to the team D. Using last years stats (and I did this @ NFL.com that's how I know) the Bears Team D would have scored over 1300 point, LaDanian Tomlinson by comparison only scored about 450. Just food for thought.

We got 11 teams......Is this all we can get? If so, I'll change the number down to 12 teams and will be set to go.

Wombat you in? C'mon this is real football, you can catch the games a day later down under.....

IS THERE ANYONE ELSE THAT WANTS IN????

Please e-mail me your e-mail address so I can send you the league invite....That's the only way to get in.

As for what to do now....

If you are not going to be at the live draft (8/10/2007 at 9:45pm EST) please pre-rank your players. Otherwise, you pick who you pick.

For newcomers, it's important to pick your Kicker, TE and Team D first. RB's, QB's and WR's are NOT important in the first few rounds. So pick them last.
