I don't dislike the Pats 'cause of the past 5 years...I've just disliked almost ALL teams (all sports Except the Mets) above the MD/PA border since I was a wee lad.

Yeah, and please don't raise the Colts to infamy quite yet. If it wasn't for ol' bugeyes Caldwell, we would have had number FOUR - in SIX years.

Nah...the Colts I don't think will make it past Wild Card this year. I actually see the Chargers and the Pats being ahead of them. But I DO hope the Ravens suprise me this year. :-)

Initially...it was just a rivalry with my parents when I was little (they're from PA). But as time went on...I've come to Hate them and the Redskins. (Redskins was a given considering the 60's and 70's rivalries)

Well, how do you fell about McRussianOrthodoxBeard? As a fan do you fear him in any way or just wait for him to throw the pick that leads your team to victory?

I'm not worried about McNabb. I'll just wait until about the 2nd game when he gets injured again with a hangnail or something.

....conveniently, right after tossing a PickSix just like 2 years ago in Dallas: "Aw threw a pick Roy Williams went 6-the-other way on, ya know what? Ow. I'm hurt. Played through a sports hernia (IE: I'm overweight so I hurt myself when called upon to move suddenly) and now I just can't anymore."

Just like I said in
the "Classiest Fucker in Rock's" Forum...

I think it's gonna be
the Falcons and the Bungles and the
Super Bowl will be played at the
new field being built at Sing Sing Prison in NY :D

Seriously...
I'm all about the Steelers but I see
New England or the Colts going at
it against New Orleans with the AFC on top.
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

As an Eagles fan, you really don't LOVE your team until you hate the Cowboys and then maybe the Giants and then maybe the Redskins more than you love the Eagles.
Paradox? Yes.
The way it is? Absolutely.

And as a Cowboys fan...you're not REALLY a fan untill you hate the Eagles, Redskins, Giants, and to a lesser extent, Steelers. Which is yet another paradox 'cause we lost to the Steelers HOW many times???

Aww fuck it... FUCK ALL TEAMS OVER THE MD BORDER.

You don't get it Liam.

A goodly number of Birds fans would rather see Dallas lose a game, preferably in either heartbreaking or degrading fashion, than they would see an Iggles win.

Indeed. There is something quite compelling about seeing the Pokes lose in a heartbreaking manner. Such as the playoff game last year...priceless.

As an aside, I got quite pumped up seeing Carrie Underwood look distraught in the stands on Christmas night last year. One of the best Christmases ever!

Actually...I'm almost the same way. If the Cowboys lose one week...SHIT! if the Eagles lose in the ways you mentioned the same week...it makes the week SO much better.

I think, more significantly, the non-call when Brown got MUGGED in the end zone ten yards from the line of scrimmage on a ball that went off his fingertips, the "pass interference" against Samuel on a play where he clearly had NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER with the Colts' WR, and the "roughing the QB" call for Manning when the Pats' lineman got blocked into Manning a quarter-step after he released the ball (in the final 2:00, of course), all had MUCH more to do with the Patriots "losing" to the Colts than Stonefingers Caldwell. Pure and simple, the NFL wanted Manning in the Super Bowl, because they knew it was quite possibly his best chance (and possibly last), and they couldn't market him for tens of millions of dollars in the next 20 years without a ring.

You gotta love the Iggles fans.

From the Cowboys Website.

http://www.dallascowboys.com/news.cfm?i ... BD905A7166

Unwanted Pests

Cowboys fans attending practice at the Alamodome have had plenty of opportunities to cheer, but Sunday they got their chance to boo, as a flock of Eagles fans infiltrated the workout.

The brazen fans, bedecked in Brian Westbrook and Donovan McNabb jerseys, loudly spelled Philadelphia's trademark E-A-G-L-E-S chant, causing many of the Cowboys fans to respond with chants of their own.

"That's suicide, I think," Bradie James said. "It just shows how wild it's been out here. We've got 8,000-10,000 fans out here and some Eagles fans show up - this has been great. Very electric."

Brain Surgeon, even though you think rain favors the offense (disagree, btw, didn't you ever see Salvucci putting it on the carpet in the rain against Walnut Heights in All The Right Moves), and they can be excused for giving up some ground yardage, did they HAVE to hemmorhage to the tune of TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SEVEN?!?!

Jamal Lewis holds the record. 295 yards vs. the Browns in Cleveland on a nice, sunny day.

Now he IS a Brown. :?
