Def Leppard may be no Van Halen, but they put on a good show, and at least they work hard, and often, Leppard is back less than a year since thier last concert here. They seem to be doing what the fans want, and they look like they are having a good time doing it. They dont see as uptite and pissed off as the guys in Van Halen.

Even if we ever get some form of Van Halen to tour for us, the show will probably look forced, and especially if the band hate each other.

Id rather see a high energy Def Leppard show, than a lame, uninspired, doi-it-for-the-money, tour the the Van Halen train wreck will be.

Van Halen has just about jumped the shark, which means that even if they somehow regroup, there wont be enough fans left who even care.

..... I hope Im wrong, I would love to see Roth 1 more time........ But I believe it when I see it.................

It will come. I think they are just trying to hype up the anticipation. They'll need it.

Do you think it has something to do with Sammy's tour announcement and how this tour is going to revolve alot more heavily around Michael Anthony (is Mona even going out with Sam this time?)
Perhaps they're trying to swing a way to get Mikey back into the fold? I hope he tells em to get fucked!

Michael Anthony is going on tour with Sammy, and Mona is going on tour with Van Halen. She's going to be Wolfie's guitar tech and nanny.

You got that right. I've already got mine. Another killer band out this year is The Police. They kicked ass! I saw them in Vegas and in L.A. at Dodger's Stadium. What a show! Sting can dance circles around David Lee Roth vocally.

Front page, rumor is rehearsals will start soon at a well known east coast venue where the tour will kickoff.

I'm guessing MSG or The Fleet Ctr Bos or Wachovia Philly.
