Someone's gotta get mariet2 to join this place.

Loons will want to watch this one all the way to the end.

Loon or not, that song is an example of the Perry/Schon connection....soaring, on-pitch vocals, searing guitar. It's what made Journey, JOURNEY. That's always been a killer tune.

It's sure a lot better to look at it on that video than to listen to it on the album. Image Thanks NIG. Image

It doesn't play for me. It gets about 3 seconds in and then dies.

This is the first time I've heard this tune, I don't have the song. Perry's vocals are incredible on it!

 You're nuts and inconsistent. It seems to me you crack on Butterfly enough to make it the worst ever.

Killer song, thanks! One of Journey's best blues tunes, I love how heavy it is.

Hey Fire, actually, making that video of Butterfly, it is a decent song...had it in my head for a week....too bad the files didn't support it, or it would be here now.

Thanks!

Just when you think you've heard his voice
Time gone by only makes you appreciate him even more.

It's almost like he sings chords.
I've thought about it in terms of my own voice.

Soaring richness & vibrato all wrapped up in a ending of pure bliss....

That was neat...not one of my favorite songs, but this clip makes it better. :)

The song matters not...
It's what Steve's voice does with it that touches me...
I don't smoke
but's it's true
Steve made love with every note...

It finally loaded for me - I don't know what was wrong with my connection before - anyway, YEAH - that's exactly what he did. Amazing performance.
