Just a FYI. The Perryville forums have close. They will not reopen. Don't know why. But they area permently shut down.

Let me shed some light on this. I normally would not get involved but because I'm sure MY name is floating around as the one who brought down the PV forum, here ya go.

1) I was a member of PV and would post there from time to time as I do on several SP/Journey forums. Everyone always made me feel welcome there.
2) Last week a member of said PV forum put out some misinformation (and not for the first time) regarding the May 2006 events at the WOF Star - you remember, SP showed up and met with some fans who were visiting the Star.
3) I then posted the CORRECT info in that thread but my post (and the thread) were quickly removed.
4) I went back to the forum a few days later to make sure more incorrect info was not posted and found I had been banned.
5) Apparently an announcement was made that the forum was closing soon after.

And there you have it. I do not want to turn Andrew's forum into a bitch-fest but I also don't want anyone assuming that I had squat to do with that forum closing.

Sorry for hijacking a good thread. I now return you back to your regularly scheduled program.

You didn't hijack the thread. Whenever there are questions and rumors, it's best to get it from the horse's mouth...
Just remember, somewhere, at sometime, there's an A-hole waiting in the midst. Sometimes, people can't handle the truth, it's burst their fragile bubbles.
I'm not meaning this in a distasteful way, just that, some people need that extra to feel good...Now, back to our scheduled programming!!!

Mariet does wonderful work and I just love to see what she has on youtube. Kudos to Mariet!!! Well that makes shutdown number 4 for rotten old PV....Geesh banning someone for posting correct information...Thanks for a little heads up Lora that way if I'm ever there I will know that the Lora posting there is really not you. Well what comes around goes around....hmmm dj I'd like to make a dedication to PV...could you please play Ratt's Round and Round! Okay back to topic at hand Mariet's wonderful work....
