OT: Fantasy Football???

Postby conversationpc » Mon Aug 27, 2007 9:25 pm

To those who participated in the ESPN fantasy football draft, what's the plan? Are we starting up another league somewhere else?

I could start on on yahoo. That's where we usually play. A 12 team league should be pretty easy to fill.

Yahoo sucks......CBS Sports has live scoring and it's free!!!! You have to pay Yahoo for scroing which blows. You know who won till Monday am!!!

I like Yahoo but you'r right in that if you can live scoring on CBS, then that may be the better option. Doesn't matter to me.

Alright, I'll start one on CBSsportsline when I get home and send out invites shortly after. Anyone interested post here and let me know. As of now a 12 team league if there's more demand than that, I can increase it.

I think it's "soto all the way's" gig again, Dean. I don't know if I can get out of work that early Friday. Weekdays aren't good for me.

10 should be doable for me. I'll only have to go in an hour early instead of 3 hours.

You'll do fine Larry. Just join and make sure the link to the draft room works okay, (you may have to download updated software from the site) then everyone will help you along chatting in the draft room. It'll be fun.

Larry, I too was confused the other night, but caught on in a minute..super easy..when everyone chats, it's fun. Now, on the other hand, if no one shows up again, I will quit on the spot. It's no fun if nobody shows up. Raiderfan and DaveDC can attest to that. We need Joe, Ed, Ed, Chief, Jen, Liam, Rick, Lar, RF and Stu o be there, don't you agree?

I need to leave for work at 1045P, can we make it 9 or 930P? If not, I will just have to autodraft in the latter rounds.

Yea...sorry I didn't make it. I thought I was gonna be here, but I had a friend who just broke up with his g/f who needed someone to vent to. Least I got drunk out of the deal.

The draft process didn't work like it was supposed to. The draft order was selected randomly and was supposed to go from the first through the last and then in reverse order back up to first again. Instead, it went from first to last and then back to first again instead of reversing. Also, some players that were drafted were still showing up as available for some of the users.

Oh ok. Guess it was a good thing I wasn't there for it...I would've been REALLY scared that I fucked something up.

We still doing this? I know I signed up. As of last night only 3 of 12 had signed up. I think it was me, CPC and SotoATW. I don't want to alter my work schedule if it's not happening. Who's planning on joining?

I got a message saying that the league wasn't full yet and if it wasn't by 12:00 tonight, the league would be disabanded. That would be a bummer.

Yeah, cuz I don't think I'm even going back to the ESPN league. That was a joke.
