Question

Postby cabokami » Sun Aug 26, 2007 4:15 am

Does any one know why Sammy stopped playing lead guitar when Eddie played keyboards and they dubbed in the the keyboard parts? I think it was after the 5150 tour. I was wondering if it was Eddies ego?

Maybe it was as simple as Eddie didn't want to play keyboards live anymore and had them piped in so there was so need for Hagar to play the guitar parts. Didn't Hagar play guitar on Can't Stop Loving You on the Balance tour?

Or perhaps he even wanted a true keyboardist on the road.Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Fitz from Night Ranger tour with them the last few times they went out? (My guess is he was backstage?)

Isn't Eddie a true keyboardist? His parents were strict about his piano lessons and made sure he practiced from what he and Alex said. Eddie also won a piano playing award at some music school when he was a teenager. He has also said that a lot of the VH songs were originaly written on the piano.

Come on, dude. You're just looking for something to argue about this time. I wasn't SLIGHTING Eddie...jsut simply saying that keyboards aren't his full time instrument. Sheesh...
