Thought I'd throw this one out there now that the college football season is upon us. My vote goes to Penn State, being my Alma Mater and all. Go JoePa!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately my boys are probably going to suck this year, but...Notre Dame is going to win the National Championship in 2009. Mark my words. I think they'll seriously contend in '08 and win it in '09.

This year...will just require a lot of alcohol on Saturdays.

Yup, I'll drink to that. Clausen will learn from the school of hard knocks this year, then ND will win it all next year. Clausen went 42-0 in high school. Can't wait to see him play.

I saw most of those games in person, and I need to tell you, he is very good, tall, big, strong, etc. However, he played at a private high school against very weak schools, most of which are religeous affiliated; meaning, they are terrible. He played on a 3A team. My high school, 10 miles away, is a 5A and mediocre in conference, could blow Oaks Christian away. Tuition is 12,000 dollars per year..for high school!

Notre Dame may win 6 games this year..maybe. I need to get Lula to get off her keester and score me Wazzu and Notre Shame tickets in San Antonio, TX for the first game of next year.

Crappalachian just went into Michigan and did them. Nice job Big Ten. Meanwhile Wazzu is taking it to Wisconsin on the road.

Whats the kickoff for that game Deano? I'm too lazy to check the ticker.
You better hope they win this one... cause I'm going to ride high on this ECU victory as long as possible.

We have LSU next weekend. Oh God have mercy.

Oh dear god - it was physically painful to watch today. I am SO behind what you say! I didn't want to like Jimmy Clauson, but the kid throws with shot-gun power. And the ND defense is much more agressive this year.

Still, I'll be downing my alcohol along with you - I think it's the only way I can get through the game!

Ugh - tuition for high school is 12,000 per year here, too. But...the team plays in the regular league, not a special Catholic league.

I'm an Irish fan, even if it hurts. And man, I could use some Advil right now!

Penn St has NO chance. Wazzu challenged Wisky for 3 quarters on the road. Penn St will get hammered.

1) I heard that same thing when Texas played USC and upset them.
2) I'm sure EVERYONE though App. St. had "no chance" too.
3) If Penn State can win at Michigan they might end the regular season undefeated. They have veteran players...except for the offensive line. If they play well, this is a darn good team.

Wait a second....5 posts up you were saying Wazzu was "taking it to Wisconsin on the road."

The cream rose to the top and Wisky ended up BURYING them.

I can't WAIT until next week in University Park when Dangerfield and ND roll into town.
Penn State better elicit swift and sure payback for the fake punt ND pulled up 27 late in the game last year.

When I wrote that, they(WSU), were taking it to Wisconsin. They were leading and regaining the lead at will. Remember, WSU is a 7th place PAC 10 team. Penn State is not a NC caliber team IMO.
