Now Craig is reconsidering....
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

JMJ, I just read the arrest report and the interrogation transcript on The Smoking Gun.com.

1 word for this moron senator:

The cop was great, too:

"See now I'm just really really disapointed in you, senator....you're sitting here, and you;re lying. People voted for you, too. Wow. This is just great...."

Totally not awed by this snake's status.

I still do not understand after reading the transcript, how is it illegal to touch the stall with your hand or touch someone's foot? I get that you could presume something from this, but how is it an illegal act?

He didn't say "I want to do this with/to you". The part about him peering in though, now that's creepy! but if he was to be late for a plane why would he attempt this? The complaints the Police were getting about this part of the restroom though makes it very suspicous. :? Why indeed though did he plead guilty?! he sounds feebile, he needs to be dismissed from office.

The GOP wants him gone, fast. They know they will have no problem at all keeping the Idaho seat. That state doesn't get any more red. However, if he clings along, like some distant fabric softner sheet, the GOP will take some shots. As it now, they are anticipating losing the White House and seats in both chambers, but they are going to try to keep it to a minimum. The corruption tag is following the GOP along like a nasty cold, and will not go away. I for one think they may have one foot in the grave. I say bury the motherfuckers for good.

GOP can go to Hell and kiss my ass.

They hit him with lewd conduct at first which included the peering through the crack repeatedly, then sticking his foot into the other stall, touching the cop's foot on the other side of the partition, then reaching with both hands palms up into the next stall and moving them back and forth.
It was reduced to peeping and disorerly for the guy's guilty plea.

Its really sad, most if not all of govt. is corrupt. It should be about serving the people, not partying like rock stars and getting rich off the position.

I wanted to doubt the allegations because he's an older family man, but that seems like a farse after reading all the facts. The part about putting the luggage in front of the door so no one can see in, that pretty much confirms it. Our society really is screwed up. :?

Have you ever heard of a year called 1936?

Yeah, let's get rid of the Republican party so the Democrats can have complete authority to turn our capitalist system into a socialist one. Let's let the Dems take complete control over our lives - they're already planning it via socialized medicine and Edwards' mandatory doctor visits. Great idea.

One freak year is not what I am talking about. It's been oppressively hot now for many years. Global fucking warming. Look it up.

It may have warmed in the last century, but you have to look at things on a larger scale.

Not necessarily. My argument was that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Raiderfan said that 44% more people today have air conditioning than they did in 1970. My argument was that it is more necessary today because of global warming. There is also another factor that comes into play. Air conditioning is far more affordable now than it was then. Make no mistake, the disparity between rich and poor is getting larger every year.

Craig needs to just go and hopefully the Congress will push it. I can't believe the stupid stuff he said calling a wrong number. I hope the voters will perhaps recall him. But then Jefferson ,Barney Frank and Teddy never had to leave because the wagons were circled. Just listening to him this week was as hard as listening to Obamas' wife, again. Obama stinks in the morning ? Someone better muzzle her as someone should have Teresa.

Apparently he's not "reconsidering", it's just that we all misunderstood. When he said he "intended" to resign that didn't mean that he actually planned to resign, it just meant that the thought had crossed his mind but no final decision had been made. So apparently "intend" just means "considered." Although sources are saying that it's most likely that he will resign.

I think the bottom line is-if he can get the guilty plea overturned and everyone will tell him that it's OK, he didn't do anything wrong then he won't resign, if not, he'll resign.

Shit, the gulf between the rich and regular non poor people is too wide now.

And why isn't the GOP asking for the resignation of David Vitters? I mean he was actually involved in illegal activities. I guess they don't care so much when the seat might be taken over by a democrat. LOL
