To answer the question that's been on I think everyone's minds...he'd been binge drinking for about a week and 1/2...and Monday night, it all caught up to him.
I had no idea this was going on...otherwise I would've said something.
The funny part is...he never seemed depressed...I just think he liked the bottle WAY too much. With how much I was told he was drinking...there's NO WAY I could match that...and most of you know how much I can take down if that tells you anything. Something tells me I won't be doing a lot of drinking anymore.

What a great decision Liam! I am so sorry that happened to your friend. I don't know you outside of here, but here is what I do know... limited, but nevertheless here goes...

You have lots of friends - lots of cyber friends some whom you have met, some not

Given that you have many cyber friends I can assume you have many, many more real world friends

You are clearly a very caring person and a great friend - what a blessing to your friends to have someone like you - that is clear just from your posts about your friends.

You sing a mean Karaoke!!

You know how to have fun!!

The ladies clearly love you - if I am not mistaken you have a "harem" hehe !

Man. This has been a fucked up 4 days. I'm doin' ok right this second because his wife gave me some work to do with organizing a few things...so I'm in "get the job done" mode right now. Which is good. I seriously doubt I'll be this way on Tuesday, though, considering the funeral's on Monday. I can't believe it's only been 4 days though...but it also seems like yesterday that all this shit happened. That's kind of a catch 22, but anyone who's been through this type of thing knows what I mean by that.
I'm sure I speak for his wife and kids as well when I say this: Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. They're very much appreciated. You people are great.

Well...this is gonna be a fun day. As was yesterday. Went to the wake and I didn't think anything was going to be there or it was going to be an urn....NOPE...open casket. So, needless to say I was caught off guard...cry fest ensued.
Today at 11 is the funeral...and I'm hoping for no more suprises that will shake me down further.

Anyway...just wanted to give y'all a quick update.

is what always helps me when losing a loved one.
Let your eye's leak when they see others feeling your pain, let your arms reach for
those to comfort and then after the service........

I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my dad to cirhossis of the liver in 1998. If people could have seen him with the brain damage he had during the last week of his life, they might rethink the whole drinking binge thing.

Thanks everyone for your condolences and support. It means a lot.
It was a nice little service...with no surprises except for the picture I saw of him and Tami in 9th grade. That made me laugh. He looked like Screech from Saved By The Bell...and Ironically...it was exactly the right time period. :lol:

Anyway...I don't really know what else to say except that I'll miss him a lot.
