Same here. Moving Pictures - Highlight, Signals - Sub- par follow up, GUP - VERY overlooked.

Now don't get me wrong...the only song I don't like on Signals is Countdown. It's a great album. But like I said earlier in this thread, it's shit compared to GUP, IMO.

Maybe because it sold 7 million copies less than Escape?

That's because it is 7 million percent inferior to E5C4P3.

No - it was on a par - but the fan base wasn't sophisticated enough to appreciate this.

For me Rush peaked with Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures and especially Signals. Then they lost it badly with GUP.

Red Sector A is great - but what were they thinking on tracks like Enemy Within? Seriously...white Canadian people should never experiment with reggae and ska.

This track is nearly as horrible as Baby I'm Leavin' by Journey...

I like anything and everything RUSH puts out, some more than others but this is a classy, tight and talented rock band. I have seen them in concert 12 times between 79 and 2007 and they have never had an off night.

The U.S. album cover was better but I'm too lazy to scan it. Just a great disc.

Gary Moore - Corridors Of Power 1982, probably did nothing in the US but great songs and Moore shredding at his best - the recorded guitar sound is second only to the best recorded guitar sound ever, EVH on Van Halen's 1st album. Featured no less than former Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray, Deep Purple's Ian Paice on drums, Jack Bruce on guest-vocals along with Mo Foster on bass.

Honeymoon Suite - The Big Prize, 1985. Awesome production, put Bruce Fairbairn on the map as a producer. Great AOR songs and performances.

Reluctantly have to agree with Deano on 'Into The Fire' - Bryan Adams, great production and songs. Very overlooked.
