You just never know and can't really compare this to much with 04, but..in 2004 you had Sammy and Mikey. It was given that there interaction with the fans was amazing, especially with those in the golden rings. Sometimes too they showed up to the other things. At some of soundchecks here and there Eddie was pretty much just within himself.
Ed will be pretty busy keeping an eye of Wolf. Never know what you will get with Diamond Dave. Don't assume the pre show party and back stage tour has anything to do with the band.
The best thing really about the package is your seat location. Don't expect anything from the rest, then you won't be let down, may be totally surprised, and you just never know what will turn into what.
I wouldn't get like hopes up thinking you will meet 'the band' as in all at one time in a organized situation.
Now, if you get to sneak in on soundcheck, I would expect that to be one hell of a ride in itself because you never know what Dave will do.
The mood in 2004 was not that great backstage, so that affected a lot with Eddie, but MA and Sammy didn't let if affect how they treated the fans.
Dave, you just never know. Eddie, clean but then there's Wolf.
Please post back after your show and let us know.

When I saw Van Hagar back in 2004, Sammy and MA were signing whatever was held in front of them while they were on stage performing by those in the Golden Rings....it was so cool to see that.

On the 2004 tour, there was this young man on the floor like row 5. You could tell he was a huge Sammy/Cabo fan. He kept holding up this red Cabo shirt and Sammy told him to ball it up, throw it on stage, and he would sign it.
When he got the shirt back, we thought he was going to lose it...it was as if this was the best moment in his life up to that point.
