The guy leaves his fans in hiatus for 10 yrs and for what? So he can live his life? So a girlfriend dumps you just because,and then comes back with 2 kids and says now she likes you..I would rather have a dedicated guy that can sing,than to have a selfish guy drop us like we are hot.Did you see the VH1 special way back when..He says,I never really felt like part of the group..Neal on Jon were floored..Neal was like,I gave him the reins and let him do whatever he wants with it..He was freakin selfish..He's been non existent for 11 years..I would rather have them go on without him..They still make great music..yes the singing will never be the same.I loved all the albums with Augeri also,for different reasons..Do you think Van Halen is going to be the same with a 55 yr old Dave? Please..they will last about 2 months..Like dave can sing Sammy's songs..He probably won't..I liked the band with both those guys,its called having an open mind!

You can criticize the guy all night for all I care but the fact remains...Journey are a much poorer band for his absence and you know it.

They are losing alot without him..I never said they weren't..But he isn't coming back and the guy is Mickey fricken 58..If they can still play,get a younger guy in there and make some more music..Look at foreigner,they lose Lou Gramm..he was Sp to foreigner..I love them too..Haven't been interested,because they have no new music out..not for 10 years..I can listen to the old stuff all I want,I dont' need to go see it to hear it..I want to hear new stuff and see a new concert with some new and old stuff..They are promoting crap from 30 yrs ago,please..

I recommend it. I saw them in June with Styx from the front row and I was very impressed. I was skeptical at first, but Kelly Hanson has a great voice and does the songs justice. If you have a chance, go see them.

They are by themselves tomorrow at Loyola College. Probably a much longer set. I saw Kelly Hansen with Hurricane open for Saxon back in 1987 or so.

They played 90 minutes when I saw them with Styx and I thought the set was pretty solid. They threw in a couple of older tunes (Starrider and one more I can't think of right now). By themselves, though, I bet you'll get a great setlist.
