Is Marley opening for Van Halen for the entire tour? How is he? How long does he play?
The show we are seeing starts at 7:30. What time will Van Halen start?

Thanks.

No one has an opinion?
I'm attending the show in two weeks and would like to know this too.
Does he play any of his father's songs or anything recognizable in his set?

Saw then last week here in Kansas City. I thought they did a good job. I'm not into Rege' music but I enjoyed the set. He did cover "no woman, no pain" (I think that's the title) but they did a couple of songs that had a rock feel too. Hope that helps.

This was my first time seeing VH so I don't have alot to compare it to, but I noticed that they kept Dave from talking. They just went from one song to the next. Maybe that was part of the deal the bros. cut with Dave. Anyway, Pro/Cons:
Pros:Eddie looked heathly. Dave looked like he was having the time of his live. Lot's of very hot women at the show.
Cons:Sound problems with Daves mic. Wolfie looked out of place. Alex looked bored out of his mind. Dave didn't interact with the audience.

In Montreal they went on about 10 minutes early. I enjoy most music (except rap), and thought they played a nice set. The young Marley recognized Van Halen by mentioning they gave him a "chance of a lifetime". The set included two of his father's songs, "No Woman, No Cry" and "I Shot the Sheriff" plus four other songs which I'll assume they were his own originals, including a duet with a female backup singer. A short set, yet entertaining.

Hmmm... let's see... the son of a guitar god joins Van Halen, then they hire the son of a reggae god for the opening act. Makes sense. I wonder if Ky-Mani and Wolfgang are smoking some Jamaican doobies together after the shows?

I'm sure Ky-Mani has access to some pretty good stuff.
