I have to say, this one was very impressive. He is no Steve Perry, but this clip above sounds closer to Perry's vocal than anyone they have hired since he left.

Yes, Herbie was Mr Big's manager and that's what I was referring to, but I also remember hearing somewhere that someone from the Journey organization may have produced a record for Eric, maybe Steve Perry or Jonathan Cain, I can't remember who right now...
