Perry visits East Coast? Grandkids?

Postby Carlitto H@kk » Sat Nov 10, 2007 4:26 pm

Here is a very small but very cool peek into Steve Perry's life these days.
You have to read the article to the end to catch it.

http://www.fayobserver.com/article?id=277205

Looks like he was in Fayetteville, NC within the past 2 weeks spending time with family.
SO GLAD to see him enjoying the important things in life.
He was probably reminded of that great band-pic on the back of
the original FRONTIERS vinyl

If this true is true (and why wouldn't it be?) then it should dispel
all the rumors of Perry being involved with anything the band may
be doing with Shirley right now. 8)
Just wonder about the "injury" he is recovering from...
Lora?

Hey Granny, is this anywhere near you???
You could've LITERALLY passed him by on a road or highway!

tHIS IS literally hours from me. Since his daughter supposedly lives in MB, SC. He's more than likely passed through my town, heck, he may been sitting next to me. DAMN IT!

I live in Wilmington, NC, which is hours from. More than likely he's probably traveled through my town as his daughter supposedly live in MB, SC.

Yeah, it's something "everybody here knows", according to a DJ five years ago, from the surrounding area. I heard that on the radio one time, passing through the area and nearly wrecked the car! I didn't really believe it at the time, but I've heard other comments over the years to reinforce it. Great, he's enjoying his life and still has family. And no....not in Myrtle Beach! That's all I'm sayin'.

Not that fucking hip again!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Lighten up Francis. I love Perry also. In the article it said Perry couldn't attend because of health problems. That's the first thing that came to my mind.

Injury?

Hmmm.

Perhaps he is just smart enough now not to want to throw his life & limbs into a windtunnel & risk injury
& too polite to say, "What do you think I am out of my mind?

I agree. Seems like a pretty stupid thing to do...especially nearing 60 years old. Kind of like skydiving. Am I the only one that roots for the parachute NOT to open for people that partake in this mindless activity?

Boy, tell me WHO your grandfather is doesn't make a difference.

Saint John as kid:

SJ: "Grandpa, can you buy me a candybar?
SJ's Gramps: "Have you been listening your mother?"
SJ: "Yes Grandpa." (Lying of course  )
SJ's Gramps: "Sure Dan, pick one out

SP's Grandson/daughter as a kid

SP's Grandkid: "Grandpa Steve, can you buy me a car?"
SP: "Aren't you a little young for a car?"
SP's Grandkid: "Grandpa Steve, you're the greatest singer of all-time."
SP: "Porsche or Mercedes?"
