Brian is no longer a part of TAPS or GH. His last appearance was at the end of the Manson episode holding his baby. Donna is also no longer on GH. That is why they have the new female investigator Kris.

They think it was the same black mass that the lady and her daughter have seen before. Probably the girl's mother. They also caught an EVP when one of the GHers asked "Who are you?", the response was "Chesney". Turns out the woman who died's last name was Chesney.

The 2nd case was boring. No evidence.

Yes, Donna was on the show because these eppys were filmed during the summer. Subsequent to that, she left GH to join a project with Brian and Andy. It was very hush hush, but it has now been announced that starting in January, Sci-Fi will debut Ghost Hunters International. This appears to be a spin-off show and will star Brian, Andy and Donna along with a couple of other previously unseen TAPS members as they explore haunts in Europe. So cool! Another GH show to watch!

OK, about Wednesday's shadow woman the Seattle area home. I hate to say this, but after reviewing the evidence and reading the boards, my conclusion is that the shadow/shape of the woman is actually the small statue that is located on the coffee table in front of where Steve was filming. As he was standing up, the camera sweeps past the statue making it appear "life size" because it is very close to the camera. Of course, Im not 100% sure but thats what it looks like to me. Of course, I dont think this was an intentional misleading thing. Oh well! I still love the GH's!

Recently the was an episode of the show filmed at the Gibbons home in Washington State. In this episode a black shadow was caught on film. Many people have expressed that the mass was a statue that was present in the home. You guys have always been great eyes and ears in the past, unfortunately I missed the first half of the episode because I was helping my kids with things. Here are a few things to think about that, based on my emails, were obviously left out.

1. We rarely get to see a episode before it airs so we ate seeing the editors interpretation of what went on at the investigation. Sometimes, like this case. Many factors that are important to us as investigators are sacrificed for other elements of the show. This is the editor's discretion and we have no real control of it.

2. When we first saw the footage our initial thought were that it was the shadow of the statue. Then we realized that it doesn't behave like a shadow. It does not follow the contours of the walls behind it. Then, we though maybe it is the statue itself. But this was debunked by placing the statue in the necessary location and having it appear clearly and vividly on our infrared camera.

3. We spent around 2 hours trying to figure this out with frustrating results. We were sure we could do it with the statue but to no avail.

4. During the reveal, we were very careful with the homeowners to express our thoughts that it was somehow caused by the statue but we couldn't recreate it.

5. We made a copy of the tape with the shadow footage on it and left it with the homeowners and asked them to try various things. Mark, the husband was excited as he felt the same way we did about the shadow. Through emails, it was expressed to me that he tried everything he could and could not give blame to the statue. In fact he couldn't debunk it at all.

So, where does this leave us? Now you know "the rest of the story" you can factor these points into your equations and let us know what you come up with.

This is my favorite show on tv. It's the only one I don't miss. I can't wait for the halloween episode next week. My bf and I are planning a trip to Waverly Hills next October, if we can get it that is.

There were 2 in a row....they did a "Roundtable Discussion" about their experiences.....the montages they put together of the practical jokes / poor Steve's phobias were too funny!

They did a recap....and OH GOOD LORD!!

The one with the voice: "I miss Aaaaaaaaaaaaa-daaaaaaaaammmmmmm" freaked the HELL out of me! :shock:

Had to stay up and watch "Project Runway" to forget about it. :twisted:

i have a real ghost story. not too long ago i was sleeping & a loud noise woke me up. almost sounded like two cars crashing. when i woke & looked around my hubby was still asleep & so was my cat who sleeps next to me every night. it was weird because the sound seemed to come from inside my head. this past halloween on mark & brian they had a psychic on their show who was taking calls from listeners. one lady who called in lost her hubby in january. he told her that he had visited her last that sunday. he asked her if she was awaken by a loud noise. she said yes that she had been. listening to that turned me cold & i really wanted to crawl back into bed with my hubby!

i also remember waking up because someone was talking into my ear. i wake up look around & everybody's still sleeping... eek! }:C\

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but it was the best one that came up in a search, and I didn't want to start a new thread.

I think that this week's episode of Ghosthunters features the Cashtown Inn in Gettysburg, PA. My wife has stayed there a few times, once with me. Really creepy place. We went there in Feb. for dinner, and the owners couldn't tell us any details, but said they think everyone will be very pleased with the episode. So be sure to check it out on Wednesday.
