i think a journey/boston pairing would've been cool at one time.

also a tool/rush concert would be killer.

maybe a styx/cheap trick/smashing pumpkins bill would neat

ac/dc opening up for a reunited led zep would be cool....

ted nugent/rage against the machine bill and hope they don't kill each other....

loverboy/billy squier/aldo nova would've been a killer bill.....

motley crue opening for guns n roses too......

poison/cinderella/whitesnake/ratt/bon jovi and def leppard in a one day hard rock festival....

To me, a Journey/Boston double bill would have been worth any cost. Those two and Van Halen are my favorite bands of all time.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

i'd done anything to see journey in '81 like you did in dallas.i could've seen 'em in '83 but i was in fourth grade and my mon went and i begged and cried but it didn't work.i actually credit my grandmother who is dead now for getting me into journey.around the time open arms was a smash i heard it on the radio plus casey kasem and liked it but never knew who did it.then my grandmother knew i loved music and bought a couple 45's at a yard sale that year in '82.i put on one with the orange columbia label and was so happy because that was the song i loved but couldn't figure out who it was and of course it was journey.then i bought the cassette escape which is still in my top ten of all time.i got frontiers for my birthday in march of '83 right about the time it was released.i knew bryan adams opened for 'em that year.man i hate i missed 'em.by the way who opened for journey in '81? was it loverboy? i'm not sure just curious

Laugh it up and tease me all you want but,
off the top of my head and considering who
some of my fave artists are right now, my DREAM BILLING would be...

Mr Steve Perry in a small-to-mid-sized theater backed by a tight band
and mid-sized symphony performing Journey Classics, Solo faves and
just about anything else he wanted!

As for the opener??? Vanessa Carlton.

Two unique and wonderful voices/songwriters in one night!

Air Supply and Metallica!!! Just kidding! I'd like to see Loverboy (now), with Def Leppard (Hysteria days). I really love the new album, and I think they would make a good pair. The best concert I've ever attended was with Journey, Styx and REO Speedwagon. I had front row/center stage tickets!!! I couldn't hear shit for 2 days!!! LMAO!
The artist formerly known as Jim. :-)
