Lar, I honestly took no pics with the band and absolutely did no recording...I was told I'd be back there within weeks to continue working on new material, so I didn't want to seem like a tew-rist.

Jeremey are you guys ever going to come to Texas? I'm telling you there is an audience here for your band!!!!

There sure is. I would love for them to come here. It's quite a drive though.

re: Texas

What part of Texas are you guys in? Did you check out that Journey tribute on Good Morning Texas last week? I think they are from Dallas (or Houston?).

Jeremey, you've been the only guy for this job from day one. Damn shame. Incredible job on this song.

I saw Journey in 1986 in Wash. Dc,He absolutely sung it, blew the roof off the fuckin place.A sold out concert, I had nosebleed seats,Ah, the good ole days
annie89509 wrote:Does anyone know if SP sang this song in any of the ROR concerts? I don't think so. It would be a very hard song to sing live (the heart-wrenching soaring vocals). Deen did a credible job on a boot I saw/heard.

To me, though, this is SP's signature song. No one can do it like him. It's almost as if he's saying good-bye to the fans--the last song of his last Journey album. Never mind TBF; it was an anomaly, pushed and made happen by John Kalodner and Sony.

Thanks, Stevew, now I have go search for a boot of that concert. I have quite a few on the ROR tour, but Steve did not sing that song. The emotion of his voice... just gut wrenching. It is my all-time favorite SP/Journey song.

I'm on the search now too, for that concert. I'll let you know if I find it.
