Thanks for this thread, Ed...

We just confirmed this yesterday, so it may be a couple days before the web site gets updated. This is a short notice gig based on another band cancellation, so we are hoping to get a good crowd in this venue, as we have no guarantee and are playing for a percentage of the door. As some of you know, this is a national act venue (Journey played one of their 30th anniversary shows there), so you won't be disappointed with the seating or venue.

Dan, I should have a definite on that House of Blues date in February by tomorrow...They are flip flopping on weekends right now.

Jeremey, Do you guys only do a few shows a yr or what's the deal? Also,do you guys have something against Minnesota? :)

Hey man! Up until 4 months ago we played almost every weekend. The problem became that demand for our shows was taking us farther and farther from home base, so when you're working 50 hours a week, then driving 5-9 hours every Saturday morning to a gig then getting home Sunday just in time to turn in for bed, it makes for an unpleasant experience all around (a far cry from the "local gig every month" picture some tried to paint in the past couple months).

Since the birth of our baby, we are limiting shows in 2008 to large national venues (House of Blues, Rams Head, Andrews Upstairs) in larger metro areas on the east coast, and only playing once or twice a month, depending on the opportunity. This way we can make as much money and play for as many people, but not have to burn ourselves out on the road like we did in 2006. We're going to FL in the spring, maybe we can do a MN tour in the fall if it's worth our while! Anyone know how we can get booked in Paisley Park?
