*ding ding*
No prizes this round, however. Why are you making fun of me?
You're a Raider fan... I mean... years ago (at one point, I'm sure) that was acceptable... but now?? C'mon... One of my other cousins turned out to be a Raider fan too, mostly because of the way the fans dressed on gameday, and he wanted to be badass too.

Not making fun of you, I just had to take exception to the dynasty claim.
I became a Raider fan in 76 at the age of 4. Sure it's had its ups and downs. But that's the way it is. Nothing I can do about it. Guess it's cuz I've never developed a crush on Favre or any other handsome QB.
Silver and Black all the way baby!!!! :D
And by all the way I don't mean the SB this year or anyday soon. Just for clarification

 One of the many benefits of being a female sports fan... scenery!

So I might've flip-flopped with a pro team ONCE (Liam), but with my college team and baseball I've never once changed... not since I was a toddler. At least I've got that going for me.

They were the team of the mid-80s, when I was born, I use terms loosely. Carry on.

They really weren't "the team" of the mid 80's! I was actually born in 1970, and my Patriots got SMOKED by the Bears in the 1985 Super Bowl, so I remember that team, VERY WELL! Truth be told, they were a VERY average offensive team. In fact, the only above average player they had on their entire offense was the GREAT Walter Payton (another guy taken from this world way too soon)! Chicago's calling card was their defense. To this day, it's still the greatest defense I've ever seen, in my life! These guys weren't just good...they were impossible to score on! That said, they weren't even close to a "dynasty"! They were simply superb defensive team, with some glaring offensive holes.

Hi John... I know. I wasn't exactly hitting the cognitive memory back then. ;)
But, doesn't the music video count for anything??

Don't get me started on that whole "Super Bowl Shuffle" video! That was AWFUL! I'm glad the Bears and their fans had fun with it. I was personally nauseated by it. I can tell you this...If the Patriots ever did that, I would be beyond embarrassed!

As dominant as the Bears were that season, I have not seen a team like the 2007 Pats ever. Too bad they will lose on Monday Night. I couldn't even say that with a straight face.

I was just saying to a friend last night...if the Ravens beat the Pats I will laugh my ass off. Not gonna happen...But I'd love it if it did.

Well, I'm on my way up to Dad's (since he has NFL Network). I won't be around here for the game either, but you bet your ass I'll be calling you... unless bad things happen, and then I'll probably be at the ER with a few broken metacarpals & phalanges.

Some things never change...

The problem with Baltimore (and has been their problem FOREVER) is that their offense is ATROCIOUS! Baltimore has always won games on defense, and now that group is starting to show its age. Nothing would shock me in the NFL, as I still think someone is going to beat the Patriots, before the end of the season. That said, I just don't think a team who is averaging a whopping 16 points a game has any shot of beating a team who usually scores that many a quarter! Also, how the hell can you Raven fans even stomach Billick? That guy is a total fraud! He spends way too much time, telling anyone who will listen, what a genius he is, and his team is dreadful!
