I'm here safe... sitting with Jen in the living room floor watching football.

I am SO jealous that its snowing where you are... I love the snow!!!!
However, it was very nice walking around tonight all over Charleston, in December, without a coat.
South Carolina weather rocks.

We have enough white stuff here so far that the kids and I may actually
be able to make a snowman in the morning.

Just a quick note - I may not post much the rest of this week... Due to my current work situation (very long, boring story), I am looking to switch schools, districts, levels next year. To that end, I will be taking additional certification exams this Saturday (lovely way to spend a b-day, I know). One test will allow me to teach Social Studies 4th-8th grade, and the other will allow me to teach 8th-12th grade History. I've always wanted to teach 7th grade Texas History, so that is REALLY my goal, but I have to test in this other stuff, too. I am reading about World History (I'm so sick of Chinese Dynasties right now, I could scream) and U. S. History (The Revolutionary War is hoot in black and white text), and will be doing so pretty steadily until test day. If anything exciting happens - someone email or PM me. I'll be checking those, for sure.
