You shouldn't assume that perhaps some of us here don't know what happened. I happen to know without a doubt, what happened. Unlike Susie, your "inside info agent," I do know stuff.

back to the susie attacks! Finally I am now being included!!! Sorry pal, dont know her, never met her, never talked to her. Keep reaching little fella.

Ok, forget Susie for a moment.

Answer my questions.

You assume that some of us don't know what happened. Please elaborate.
You didn't go to fucking college. FYI information, it's "paid down my credit card" and definitely, not defenitly.

Hey Dean, FYI means "for your information", therefore, "information" was not necessary. Don't they teach that in Washington?

well, I think we can just agree that some like him and some dont. I happen to still be a fan.

sure we can. i think his guitar playing is amazing. he has always been nice to me, complimentary too and i'm not even blonde, lol. but that does not make him a good guy in any sense. he is smart to recognize his fans and give us a moment of excitement.

For the record, as I stated in the other thread I dont give a damn whether you think I went to college or not. As I said-jealousy over my school I guess. I dont have to prove anything to you so fuck off, OK? I just wish I'd not PAID all that money back for loans since I didnt go to school, according to you and I'm sure my father wishes he hadnt PAID all that money also to help me. And I sure wish I hadnt eaten all those Ramen noodles since I could have used that money on other things....

WOW!! I'm guessing, with the time of year and all, that this is "Naked Santa" checking his "naughty list". This is wrong on every level.

Back to my question. Is my assessment of his I.Q. fairly accurate? Also, he seems kinda like a dickhead. Is that fair? Guitar god, "yes". Guy to watch your house while on vacation, "no".

I will give you that Scarab....good point. I am sticking with the PP syndrome though. Look at both his business and personal relationships.
You know, this is something I hear all the time, about it being Neals band before SP joined. I was always under the impression that Herbie started that band, and that he recruited Neal and Greg for it. I'd say it was Herbie's band, not Neals.

Yeah, I guess you're right Dean, cuz even as much of a dickhead as Herbie is, he NEVER would have made the idiotic decisions that Neal has.

Ease up on the Herbster, he was the man that made the band what they were. ;)

I totally agree Rick, but some of the things he has said in interviews sometimes, that's all I meant. Even Perry said without Herbie's vision, Journey would never have made it. Herbie is a brilliant man!

Well I'm sure you've read the Castles Burning interview, and he's as big headed as they come about their success, but he really seemed to do it out of a labor of love. He gloats a lot, but he really did work his ass off for them. That's one dude I'd like to have a long chat with. The stories must be incredible.

Herbster?

LOL, could you imagine, Herbster, ala huge human like hampster, crawling through a giant Habbitrail, up those fuckin tubes,, making a hard right, and then a reverse curve left, and into a spinning wheel where he had to actually run to escape? Haha, then he would bolt up another habbitrail to the top and his giant over hanging "lookout" tower. Wait! Herbster sees a person putting some food into his little Herbster eskimo dome. Quickly, Herbster scurries down the 4 foot long tube, cutting the sharp left, and the reverse curve right, through the spinning wheel, over the fake water lake, and dive bombs his way through 40 lbs of that hampster confetti shit, sliding on his big enormous belly into his giant eskimo dome thingy, his mouth agape, as he slides into some fresh Hampster eats. Aaah! That's enough excercise for a day!

i dont know anybody from journey personally, i saw steve perry 2 times, one was cordial, one he was a dick. met neal 3/4 times all very friendly, spent about an hour and a half in a hotel bar(ror tour) with him, mike baird, and neals date, myself and my friend whos a guitar player. im sure people have the opposite SP was great neal was dick stories. as for smart. who didnt sell off thier shares of nocturne prod. when the band broke up. not sure if herbie and neal still own this co. but if they do they make more money on it than journey touring.as for herbie he may have put the band together, he may havemoved then in the right direction to hire a pop singeralong with the record co.and he may have pushed/payolaed/ and promoted this band to the top, but he never wrote or played those songs. if neal didnt continue this band with a new singer it would have been over in 96 and people like use wouldnt be able to argue/discuss it on this site. what does it matter if he needs the money dont we all.
