The only one I could say I'd go see no matter what is Pink Floyd as long as Gilmore was still at the mic/guitar.

The only one I could say I'd go see no matter what is Pink Floyd as long as Gilmore was still at the mic/guitar.

Perhaps interestingly I would rather see Roger Waters play the Floyd classics with his own band rather than watch the relic that the Gilmour machine has become. Water's In the Flesh DVD featured incredible musicianship, Dogs was a particular highlight.

From experience I would say Danzig is the band I have seen the most despite the frequent line up changes. As long as Glenn Danzig is at the helm i'm there.

Night Ranger. Incredibly, they were BETTER with Beach in the band. The animosity had been simmering between the guys and Watson for years. I feel dirty for even saying it, but in retrospect, I'm glad it happend. Now if they can only convince Reb to become a full-time member.

Gordon, years ago when I was a youngster, I saw Rainbow with Ritchie from the fifth row in a small venue. I was staring up at him right in front of me thinking man, what a guitar god. I wish he would do one more Rainbow tour before he kicks off.

Perhaps - i just feel that Mr. Lynch is VERY hard to replace - everyone sees him as a shredder - but, i always thought his melodic capabilities were overlooked - which is a shame.

Musically, we live in dark times. I wish American Idol and the X factor, would fuck off! Christ! Can you imagine if these shows had been around he last 50 years? Yeah, screw American Idol. I just see that Kathrine McFee lost her record deal. She only sold 300,000+ CD's. Record company said they didn't see her breaking through to the mainstream. Jesus, RUSH would never have had a chance these days. Record companies used to try to build their acts over time and usually gave an artist 3 albums or so to do it. Fuck em all. I know what I like and I'll find it without the record whores.
