OT: A lovely Talisman suprise

Postby youkeepmewaiting » Mon Jan 14, 2008 5:53 am

In the early 90's my Dads band were signed to Now and Then records. During a meeting, once of the managers handed my dad a box full of Now and Then artist. It was put in his garage and never properly looked at until he digged it out and brought it out today, and then through my rumaging of around 50CDs i saw Talismans debut. Never heard any of JSS with Talismans stuff so i was very pleased to find it. I was hoping Hugos debut album would be in the box but sadly it wasnt (have been lookiing high and wide for this).

So anyway, i stuck it on, and it was great. Some songs need to grow on my a bit but im sure they will. Definitly worth a buy if you cant track it down.

Funny though, typical Now and Then. The cover art says that thers are 10 tracks whereas infact there are only 8. One of the MANY mistakes that company made during its early years.

What band? I was tight with N&T for a long long time before their demise.

Oh right.

They were called "The Quest", and had two albums, "Do you believe" (Now and Thens 5th release) and then around 1996 had "Change".
