Trouble Maker - Revised

Postby Behshad » Tue Jan 15, 2008 5:40 am

With trouble maker, I dont mean it in a negative way. Its more like people who can get threads locked/deleted, start heated discussions or simply make Andrew and T-bone work over time to keep the peace around here.
Last but not least, this is all for fun. And all nomniees* are active posters here who can defend themeselves.

* My deepest apologies to anyone I forgot. 8)

I'd have to say that none of the people you listed are trouble makers.

Haha... I just did the same, dude! Don't think I've ever had any threads locked, and no stern PM's from the mods, but I definitely enjoy flinging some poop around when I can... :P What an honor to be included on the list!

I don't think anyone listed above is a trouble maker. The only posters who make me want to send my foot clean through the screen of my computer are the a-holes who are arnelians and susies. Other then that I'm a very nice guy.

The list is full of people that aren't afraid to come out, tell it like they see it and go "Fuck that". That isn't a troubleshooter....just a person that can be uncompromising (in a good way)...For me, the Han Solo rule comes into play here. (i.e. "Bring on, I prefer a fair fight" )

...and frankly, in the online world of Journey where there's a gaggle of two-(or several)-faced whack jobs that (need a hobby or two) that play/pit people against eachother and do it with a coy wink...and when called on their malicious actions, they go "what? Who me? I would never"....yeah right!

Also...if the ones that are a little more brash, a little more straight-forward and a little more apt to call bullshit on something going to be called 'troublemakers' (given your definition of the kind of poster that will start/continue threads that will generate attention)...I think you need to also recognize the coy, winking little bitches that taunt the above mentioned "troublemakers." Because without the psycho element of the depressed-nasty-two-faced journey fan, we'd probably be over at the Dokken board picking sides with Deano and Rip Rokken....

Hey Behshad, edit the fucking poll with a "none of the above" choice so I can vote and see what the results look like. Since there's no option for me now I haven't voted and therefore can't see the results. Put down the blueprints for the Empire State Building and get this done.  :P

Don't be  - I did the same damn thing AND made the same damn suggestion not that long ago.
If you're viewing as a guest, though, you don't see the "view results" choice. That's what happened to me.

 D'oh!!

Because if you're viewing as a guest you already see the results as you are not allowed to vote. :P

When I was in guest mode I didn't see results. Hence my annoyance with it.
