I never cared for Roth very much... have always dug Eddie's playing, though. I was a fan of Sammy's before he was in Van Halen and loved them when he was the singer. Still a fan of his...have all his stuff with the Waboritas and go to his concerts when they come around. His voice is just as good as it always was...and I love his song writing.
Yep, long live Sammy! 8)

Yeah, wait 'til they're in the studio recording some new tracks with Dave. Then we'll have something to talk about.

I'm going to see VH on March 9th, BTW. Can't wait.

Saw them in Philly. They were good, but not as good as they were during Roth's first go around, and not as good as they were in 2004 with Sam.

Still worth going, though.

A new studio recording is what I really crave too.

When I saw them the other night, Alex looked like Kwai Chang Caine from Kung Fu playing the drums... :P

I saw the opening show in Charlotte.

FUCKING AWESOME.

I've listened to clips since then. Dave is still sounding great...Ed has some off nights, but...come on.

THE GREATEST American rock band in history (including Journey).

No-one is talking about it because there aren't going to be any train wrecks this time.
