Hey Andrew I don't think you answered the ????????? would you go see them if they went to Australia?

Andrew? Plans?

I think he would. That would give him his best chance to write a fair review of Journey with Arnel.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

That line actually came from the lone American article. The Marin Independent Journal.
http://www.marinij.com/ci_7826224?source=most_emailed

It's out there and then Arnel intimated as much in the Philippines. It's good that he knows who "The Voice" is and acknowledging that, to me, is a good step towards showing that he plans to put his soul into making all the songs, classic or new, the best he can make them.

Yeah, right on Rick. Sure I'd go see them....but there is no chance in hell of them touring Oz. And I won't be in the USA this year. Any reviewa of Arnel with the band live will have to be posted here by the fans, I won't be seeing them first hand, although sure...I'm very curious.

I'll review the record in extreme anal-retentive detail of course :)

It doesn't make sense to broadcast this too loudly....perhaps in the philipines where this can be leveraged into some variety nationalistic upcomance....but not here.

This is true. Literally everyone I have mentioned this too (I'm talking about your "average joe-what's journey up to these days" folks) has outright laughed at this, and one of these people, who knows full well my favorite song ever is SIL has actually taken to teasing ME about it (by singing "stone innn ruuuuuvvvv" around me). Now *I'M* even catching crap for Journey's shenannigans.

Over there, they'll love it. Here, it's a total JOKE. "Journey did WHAT? Bwaaaahaaaahaaaa!"

I'm taking a lot of shit too. There are precious few Journey fans where I work. I don't give a shit, I'll bring in the '81 Houston DVD and pop that baby in and let her rip in the breakroom. :D Then quietly, people will come up to me and ask where they can get a copy of it. Closet Journey fans.

Co-workers ask me about Journey and I tell them we got a divorce...then they ask why...and then I tell them. Not too many folks who know me will head for a Journey concert without a TON of info. At least they're informed! 8)

According to some people, most Journey fans don't know that he left. But yes, I agree with you for the most part.

I wonder why we keep coming back then? Maybe because people just can't turn away from a train wreck.

Because Journey fans past and present are a blast to hang around even if we don't agree on issues! (Cue the Kumbaya... :D )

And Rick, you change avatars like most people change their underwear, so I have to see what you've got up next. Who was that good looking guy you had up a couple of avatars back? If that was you - whoa baby! :D

I get the same thing from people who ask me what is going on with them or if they are touring or whatever.
I also get people that know who Arnel is.
I tell them the same thing. Not interested in what they are doing or when or how,.
Probably will not go see them unless they are with someone else and notplanning on buying the cd.

Nice dig but hey that stuff is the friggen bomb to eat if you've never had any. You have to try it to know. It's like rolled tacos but better. 8) Bust out the sweet and sour sauce and it's OVER.

Asian girls with straight pubic hair? Please...that ain't always true that's like saying All Americans are Light skinned and we know that not to be true.

The speech patterns, mannerisms and just the general hickness of everything is so fascinating to me.
