It's just the mud slinging that happens ever damn election. It is disgusting. It's one of those times that you just can't wait for it to be over with. Ugh! Every damn commercial on TV is a candidate making empty promises. I'll have to say, I do like Obama too. He seems genuine.

Agreed. They all do it. They shot shit at Clinton when he ran, the Bush/Kerry election, same thing. It's nothing new. It just seems like it is because it's Bill, and because no matter which way it goes, one of the two democratic frontrunners is going to get that nomination and we're about to something we have never seen before, which will be either a black person or a woman winning a presidential party nimination, so every comment, every look, every blink is being taking for 100 times more than what it is.

Once it comes down to 1 dem and 1 republican, you'll see the same shit being slung from the elephant's side. It just remains to be seen whether they'll be attacking a woman or a black.

They need to be careful attacking if they touch on their sex or race. That could backfire big time on them.

Bill sure as hell isn't. Er... at least "wasn't".

Question: will Hillary try to get a little licky licky in the oval office?
Fair is fair and it's not like every president hasn't done it.

Yeah, they are doing some mudslinging, but notice they are winning? The republicans will smear and throw all the lies they can at Hillary, and the Clintons will fight back. had Kerry fought back, he would be president. That's why Hillary can win. The GOP has never beaten her and that pisses them off. They're toast.

She will win the nomination, and hope she does. That way we can easily hand her a defeat in the general election.

Every current poll has every one of your guys losing to every Democrat, with the exception of McCain narrowly (i.e. by 1 percentage point) defeating Clinton. Otherwise, every other matchup, and the Cons are going down. Get used to it. It's over for your party for the next five or six years.

Once the Clinton machine starts flinging mud, and once her true positions are exposed, most Americans will coalesce around Romney. They will reject the path toward socialism and big government that Hillary Clinton would take the country on.

It's your party that invented and specialized in mud-slinging. How else is your guy still in power after all the 9/11 lies and Clinton got impeached for getting a blowjob? Romney wouldn't have beaten Mondale in 1984, let alone ANY Democrat this time around.

I'd like to remind you that the bipartisan (and majority Republican) 9/11 Commission gave Bush 5 F's. 12 D's. and 2 Incomplete's in their assessment of Bush's defending the homeland. Clinton received 3 A's, 4 B's, 8 C's, 2 D's and 2 Incomplete's in the same bipartisan publication.

Your party is toast, and Romney is a joke. The only guy who stands a chance is McCain, and I won't mind if he wins, since he is the only guy on your side of the aisle who isn't afraid to put his country ahead of his party.

The first thing you should do is spell the name of your candidate, correctly! Mitt Romney has ZERO shot of beating Hillary or Obama! He may not even get the nomination over McCain! If he did, he wouldn't get elected, if for no other reason, the fact that he's a Mormon! Religion is a HUGE issue for MANY people (think south of D.C.) in this country! I'll never underdstand why that is the case, but it is! Candidates who have run a state as liberal as Massachusetts is, will NEVER get elected (unless your last name is Kennedy) to serve as President!

There has NEVER been any other time during my life that I've been more sure that anyone who is affiliated with the Republican party has ZERO shot, after the debacle that has been W.'s administration! There is a reason that so many Republicans are outwardly criticizing Bush...They know aligning themselves with the guy is political suicide, at this point! The Democrats are coming!

Do people really (and by people...I mean educated people) pay any attention to endorsements? I can honestly say that I've NEVER, EVER, EVER voted for one single candidate, in my life, for ANYTHING, because of an endorsement that he or she received! I honestly don't think Ted Kennedy has as much influence on people's votes as you're giving him credit for! I would think the fact that John Kerry has endorsed Obama would have more of an impact, just by virtue of him being the last nominee from the party!

I think Oprah's endorsement really helped Obama but I don't think they usually have any impact at all.

The reason most of the Democratic Congressmen are endorsing Obama is because they know he is someone both sides can work with. Hillary is known for being much more divisive and polarizing than Obama is. Bottom line is, we need someone who can bring both sides together and get something done for a change instead of all the gridlock. I think Obama can do it.

Hell no!

Hillary in the White House, a solid Senate DEM hold where vetoes can't be thrown by the GOP...I don't want Obama in there. Too unifying. I say fuck them Give me Hillary, a 23 seat Senate hold and the current House hold. Watch those fuckers cry.

The site was gone by the time I got to it, but there's no doubt that Hillary is the candidate out there that come's closest to what I want in a president.

A few words on the race issue that keeps coming up though, it's mostly media driven. How many times have all of us heard a reporter, interviewer or commentator say something along the lines of "So and so said this about you, what do you say about that"? They jump on anything that they can possibly construe as hinting at a trace of racism with both feet, all ten fingers and their malicious mouths.

Even if race wasn't that big an issue for many voters(which it clearly is) these ratings vultures would make it one.

Bottom line though, if the media can make it that big an issue, it is, and that means it's not time for a black president. I say that not because of the color of the CANDIDATE'S skin, but because of the way the country would respond to the fact of it.

Media driven? Then why on earth did Clinton say that Obama was like Jesse Jackson? What a cheap shot! I believe he was saying it in the context of winning a couple of primaries, etc. but why name Jesse Jackson? Because he's the same color? For fuck's sake he could have picked any other name and made his point if that's what he was trying to do, but it seemed clear to me that was a racial comment. Very stupid. Obama seems to have more class than Bill and Hill combined.

Hillary won't be getting out the primary season to the general election. A ton of heavy hitting Democrats are sick of the Clintons and are backing (or will be backing Obama soon). Obama will be the nominee.

Edwards said as much to Kerry in the 04 election (re: the "swiftboaters") and apparently this is why them two don't get along so good now! I think history has shown Mr. ED was right...

BTW- Hillary came up as my #1, which is surprising, as I don't really support her...and last for me? My beloved Ron Paul! Guess I'm not much of a liberatarian after all!
