Andrew, it's a first single, which usually aren't the best. Also, it does have a catchy chorus and a nice hook. I do like Keith's guitar work, and the backing vox.

Can anyone hear the Shania Twain opening? and the Mutt Lange footprint? I did on first listen.

I like it! Yeah, it's slower, but Adams does that a lot. I don't know about top 5 though. Maybe if he puts a hundred dancers in his video and wears a lot of Bling. I like the song though. He's a great song writer.
