I have good reasons. Their homepage is almost infinitely customizable, plus it has a TV Guide. The search engine searches many sites to get better results. See below.

I use Google most of the time. However, I also do part-time work for a search engine called ChaCha.... www.chacha.com

ChaCha has a new feature that allows searches via SMS messages...Pretty cool if you're out on the town and need to have something search up for you via live search guides.

Can't beat Google for a search engine, but I've really got my eye on them regarding privacy issues -- I'm sick of uninstalling Google Toolbar and Google Desktop for people, which in every case was bundled with something else. Lots of articles about Google's serious privacy concerns, so they are on my watch list.

Just today I had a client who lost all his Outlook contacts -- I looked and his whole .PST file was missing, and had been replaced by a new one (Outlook probably prompted him to create one when it found the other one missing). I did a search of his hard drive, and found the entire .PST file intact under "My Documents\Google Gadgets\Data"... what the hell? It either copied or moved his data. I was just glad to be able to restore it before I yanked Google out of there again.

Read some articles on what Google has been up to...

Google is the best without a question.

Yahoo is littered with ads. It's garbage.

Have been using Metacrawler for about 5 years. Really awesome - cuts down on the duplicates that you have on Google.
