It'd be way cooler if the "ASIA" was smaller and tucked in a corner, and if there was a Dean landscape or something in the background instead of all blackness.

Still a good cover though, I suppose.

ProgRocker -- I do agree. As is, it looks like some sort of compilation album. I'd much prefer a full scene. Still, really looking forward to this!

Are they planning on adding more tour dates? I'd love to see them on this tour.

Not sure, but I'm seeing them in April -- it will be my only chance.

If it is a studio album, doesn't the title have to start and end in an "A"?

Silent Nation was actually the first ASIA studio album to break that trend... The last one that fit was Aura, and back when the band was trying to find an A**A name for it, I was one of the fans who suggested "Aura". It was cool to see they'd chosen that one of all the suggestions, but in all honesty, they were really running out of options, and "Aura" was the most logical of all of them.

The first track sounds especially good. To me, there's nothing better for Asia than to hear Wetton's voice and Howe's guitar together.

Just brilliant. The first tune is a killer track. BEST I've heard in AGES from any band. A CLASSIC, nothing less. :D

Actually after 'Aria', They released 'Arena' then two B-side type albums (essentially a bunch of cast off songs they had lying around) known as 'Archiva 1 and Archiva 2'. After those albums they released 'Aura'. ...yes 'Silent Nation' was next and broke the string.

John Payne once joked that as they were getting older perhaps 'Asthma' make work it's way in somehow. :D

I goofed after my first post, thinking I had Aria and Aura backwards.... so I corrected those posts and ended up actually creating the mistake.. LOL! Man, even for an ASIA fan, all those A**A names get confusing!

I LOVE Aria, Arena and Aura... all three great albums. Silent Nation was pretty good, but not my favorite.

I like Asia too...the first album is a really nice balance of prog-influenced pop music, and Wetton is a great vocalist.

I also liked Steve Howe's stuff on the first album...I think it was actually a challenge for him to fit his style coming out of Yes into a different musical context, and it has some of his best playing, IMO.

Hey Stonecold, they actually had a live album (double album from the "Aura" tour) called 'America'

I suppose they could have albums like Toto's favorite 'Africa'

Jessica's favorite 'Alba'

and of course Andrew's fave....'Australia' :D

It looks like they got a clipart turkey / pheasant / emu whatever bird, colored it in and slapped it in front of the AsiA logo.
