Rip Rokken wrote:Silent Nation was actually the first ASIA studio album to break that trend... The last one that fit was Aura, and back when the band was trying to find an A**A name for it, I was one of the fans who suggested "Aura". It was cool to see they'd chosen that one of all the suggestions, but in all honesty, they were really running out of options, and "Aura" was the most logical of all of them.

The first track sounds especially good. To me, there's nothing better for Asia than to hear Wetton's voice and Howe's guitar together.

Silent Nation was actually the first ASIA studio album to break that trend... The last one that fit was Aria, and back when the band was trying to find an A**A name for it, I was one of the fans who suggested "Aria". It was cool to see they'd chosen that one of all the suggestions, but in all honesty, they were really running out of options, and "Aria" was the most logical of all of them.
DerriD wrote:Actually after 'Aria', They released 'Arena' then two B-side type albums (essentially a bunch of cast off songs they had lying around) known as 'Archiva 1 and Archiva 2'. After those albums they released 'Aura'. ...yes 'Silent Nation' was next and broke the string.
John Payne once joked that as they were getting older perhaps 'Asthma' make work it's way in somehow.
