I dont mind him plecing it up on a couple of songs, but the piano is his place.

Now Jon, go and record a complete piano version of Still She Cries, and that can be yeh solo this year for the tour

I would actually go see a concert, just to hear that! I think you and I are the major "Still She Cries" fans around here. Damn - I'd love to hear that without vocals, just Jon and Neal - it doesn't even need the strings that are on the record.

I had the opportunity to play that acoustically with Jon in CA as well as "Easy to Fall" with Neal and Jon. Was awesome! An unforgetable experience.

Dang, Jeremey! I am totally, unashamedly jealous! It's the one song of Journey's that I've ever heard where I thought "Quiet, Steve, I'm listening to the piano!" LOL - great experience!!!! I bet it wasn't taped or anything.....was it?

Crap, just listening to Jeremey's range makes me jealous. F*CKER!!!

Would of loved to have heard some of that. Easy to Fall is a great number from TBF also.

That's one of my top ten favorite Journey songs. AMAZING tune. I get chills like six times during the song. Cain's piano solo, the instant Neal cuts in with his guitar, Perry's vocals being all spectacular 'n' shit...

Not gonna lie, a tear fell from my eye when Neal's solo cut in the first time I ever heard SSC. Simply majestic.

I'd like to hear SSC with just piano...it is a very pretty sound - he definitely has emotion in his keys (just please no JC singing on it). And, how pretty is this intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aCBB670 ... re=related Makes you want to hear more of it.

Maybe when Journey's done, Cain can produce exercise DVDs...

Keep Cain on as much guitar as he wants.
Just bring back Rolie to run the keys.

How much ass would that kick?

Twin guitars with Neal and Frig, and then Rolie hamm(ond)ing it up!

On some songs it's cool to have the extra guitar. Too bad that the guitar is on a stand so he can't move with it on stage, maybe that would loosen him up a little.

He's always been sans guitar stand whenever I've seen them live, so that's news to me.

You'd think that with Perry gone, this would be a possibility. However, he still wouldn't be into the type of music the band has done since his... "departure".

I seem to remember from the Chile gig that the guitar was on a stand.

He did both. He had a Les Paul on a stand in front of the keyboards, he had (what looked like) a 12-string Strat as well. The head stock didn't look strat-ish though, the body did (I've never seen a 12-string strat- get a Ric 12 string Jon and be a real man like me! :) ). One of them was really out of tune, I forget which.

In OTY- Cain USED to play 12-string acoustic which sounded more like the album.

Any word on the Frontiers show in Chicago this summer?

Look for Frontiers in New Orleans and Dallas House of Blues in June and Chicago and Cleveland House of Blues in July...Dates Pending.... :)

Wholly hell, Jeremey! Big D is still a long ass drive from here. Seriously, depending upon where in Big D, it's roughly 16+ hours for the round trip by car. We'll have to look into getting you to the heart of the state. Maybe Austin or SA, in the future. That's much more doable for those of us in the suthern hemisphere of the state.

That would have been something!!!!! But it always seems like there are more "almosts" than "happened" in Journey's journey. What could have been.... :([/quote]
