OT- BON JOVI Greensboro, NC. AKA, I Climbed Over Chairs

A couple of things I learned from the BJ concert. I, at almost the age of 35 have GREY HAIR. Not just a strand, but LOTS! To my dismay the bathroom lights at Best Western Windsor Suites are quite strong!!! Next grocery expedition, milk, check, Loving Care, check.

Single people don't attend concerts. At the last second I upgraded my nose bleed tickets to floor section B, row 31. That left me with a ticket I didn't need. Long story short, I couldn't give that ticket AWAY! Trust me, I tried. Everybody wanted two tickets!! LOL. Two men, both scalpers offered me five bucks one of which told me I was beautiful. Ehhh now. If he thought I was that beautiful, he would have offered me my asking price, $25. Just so you men know, SCARYGIRL is not cheap!!!

When the going gets desperate, the desperate will climb over chairs!!! Richie, who is mucho excellent btw, was left to sing I'll Be There For You . Afterwards, the lights went down, and when they came back up JBJ was within several yards of me off to the side, about to sing Bed of ROSES to the ladies. A bunch of girls from my row hoofed it on down. Security was not stopping them, so I broke for the border too. So I got down there, closer to the man than I have EVER BEEN BEFORE. OMG!! Still there were people in front of me. Not being in my own body, I noticed a row of emty chairs, and proceeded to crawl/walk over them so I could get closer. I was within a foot of him before before the security guards saw me, and mouthed "get down." This other girl laughed and shrugged her shoulders. I gave the security dude my best "whatever" look, hunkered back only for a second, and make my way back down to the floor. This other guy let me in front of him. Literally if I had leaned over I probably could have touched him. Alas for all my effort I didn't get to touch hands, but hey, at least he saw me. Befoer my chair-a -pade, we locked eyes.

Okay, you guys probably think I ahve totaly lost it now, but as god as my witness next time I will spend my hard earned money on even better seats, so maybe alas, I can be in his aura once again.

It sounds like a blast! JBJ is way too hot to skip the opportunity to get close!

About the gray hair--I don't have much, but I pay my stylist to cover it. I never thought the gray would bother me, but it does.

btw.. i HATE those florecent bright lights in bathrooms.. it makes me look like the evil Emperor of the Empire ..

Cuter than ever!!!!! His quitar playing was PHENOMENAL. He seemed really into it. He did look a little heavier than usual, but that's to be expected with all he's gone through in the past year. That and maybe it was just me, but the stage banter him and Jon shared seems to be gone. All in all great SHOW. THinking of going again!! After I color my hair... :wink:
