Dodge Journey review

Postby journey062393 » Tue Apr 15, 2008 1:56 pm

Ok, so it is soon going to be time for me to get rid of my car and purchase a van/suv, as I have a 3rd child on the way. So I'm looking at reviews for the new Dodge Journey and of course, there has to be one smart ass reviewer who has to put down the band in order to review the vehicle. Take a look at this:

I'm sure I won't. It's getting mixed reviews. Gotta make sure it handles the snow well here in Cleveland. Plus, I would never hear the end of it from everyone that knows me that of course the only reason I would buy the car is because of the name.

I sent this email to editorsIL@edmunds.com

Good, we thought. Dodge is trying to distance the seven-passenger 2009 Dodge Journey from the soggy rock band.

Dodge should sidle themselves with Journey the rock band. If you hadn't heard, Journey is on fire right now. With the press they've received from the 'Sopranos' ending, and the addition of a new lead singer, new album, rerecording of the classics and a new DVD, they're going to be very popular once again.

Dodge can do what it wants. I've already caught one show this year and have tickets to another. Great band, never soggy.

Cheers.

We were going to hold out for one of these before buying but sprung for the Chrysler Aspen instead of waiting.

I just went and checked out the Journey, the local dealer got one in. I am glad I didn't wait, it is definately smaller and looks wise is forgettable. I am dissapointed in it.

They should have saved the name for something better in my opinion.
