Amen to that!

Do you really think it's the religion and not the power-hungry scumbags using it that are to blame?

The Bible speaks of false prophets, and that's all these people are that use the name of Jesus for their own twisted means. Everyone gets their just desserts in the end.

I love that post. All other religions and paths are wrong EXCEPT Jesus Christ.

Maybe the F in STFU stands for Friga? There actually is a brand called "Cain's Coffee" (I see it in the grocery store).

Well, I can tell you the Jews certainly don't believe he's the way ... 'nuff said.

So why do the Jews have the final word on this, in your opinion? There are hundreds, if not thousands, of Jews who have come to faith in Christ. Do their opinions count?

Judaism doesn't recognize the New Testament. Period. If they converted to something else, that's their business but a true Jew doesn't recognize Christ as anything other than a man who lived thousands of years ago.

I don't know what funky Jews you know, but they're not the ones I know.

If it were not for Judaism, there would be no Christianity (any flavor). The world is a great place and all religions should be able to coexist.

I see...It's okay to call Jews who have converted to Christianity "funky" but if I were to say something like that about unbelieving Jews then you'd be the first to call me "intolerant" or some such word. Interesting.

You'll get no argument for me from that because Jesus was a jew. So were all the disciples as well as the Apostle Paul and many other of the early Christians. For that matter, even some of the disciples, while spreading the Gospel, were hesitant to preach it to non-Jews.

The world is a great place and all religions should be able to coexist.

Can't disagree with that, either. However, they cannot all be correct, either, can they?

If they convert, they're Christian. That's not funky. But anyone who actively practices Judaism and also thinks Jesus is the savior isn't Jewish in the Reform, Conservative, or Orthodox definition. NO Jewish tradition has anything to do with Jesus. That's what I meant.

And many Jews are hypocrites - as there are in any religion. I keep Kosher and most Jews don't (for example).

Can't disagree with that, either. However, they cannot all be correct, either, can they?

And this is why we have war.

No, it's not why we have war. When I see people who engage in war over religion, it's not because of religion but in spite of it. Those people use religion to achieve fame, fortune, and power.

I believe that Jesus is the only means of salvation. However, I've never engaged in violence over it and never will. I can discuss my faith with people who do not agree and have a spirited debate, even an argument, but the step up to violence is one that I will never take.
