Yeah he would. If the debate furnishes the questions before hand and Obama's speechwriter is allowed to write answers and put them on a teleprompter for him.
Otherwise he'll be stuttering and stammering as usual.

There is NO POLITICIAN in American worth voting for! NONE.

Politics is now just a quick way to the millionaire boys/girls club and to hell with the rest of us.

I am going to go enjoy concerts, fishing and friends the rest of this year. The politicians can go take flying leap for all I care. Washington should be leveled and we should start the hell over with STATESMEN, not politicians who's only desire is to line the pockets of themselves and their cronies.

How's it going up the road?

Many of Obama's speeches are purportedly written by himself...at least the race one was supposed to be.
I've never been captivated by the mysterious X-factor everyone sees in him. I wasn't even impressed by his debut splash at the '04 convention.
However, if it comes down to him and the pale gray shell of a man named McCain, Obama will clinch it on aesthetics and style alone.

Unfortunately, those two words belie two of the three major reasons people would vote for him, the third being "Bush".

Ok.
As you're paying such minute attention to the facts, I'm sure you're well aware that Princeton economist and NY Times writer, Paul Krugman has been contrasting the domestic policy prescriptions by all of the top Dems since this race began. Whether it was the recent subprime mortgage crisis or healthcare, Obama's policies were found to be consistently to the right of both Edwards and Hillary – and Hillary, like her better half, is a DLC-owned centrist.

So if Obama's policies aren't Marxist by nature (and no, sorry Beck listeners, the word "regulation" should not be instantly equated with socialism) what defines him as a Commie?

The National Journal's recent ranking of Obama as the # 1 liberal in the senate is to be alternately ignored and scoffed at. More liberal than say, Bernie Sanders the actual socialist or even Dennis Kucinich? And Joe "credit card company shill" Biden is ranked at # 2? This list is a joke. The Journal similarly slimed Kerry when he looked to be the presumptive Democratic nominee in '04.

Barb wrote:Why don't you take your own everyone who's a socialist is great colored glassess off and admit the truth....

Socialist…Commie…..Pinko……
More parroting of AM hate radio labels with very little discussion of facts or knowledge of history.
Teddy Roosevelt, a Republican, was decried as a socialist when he dared argued for better wages.
So too was JFK (note - when Beck dolefully mourns the golden years of JFK and his father's Democratic party, he is stretching out his palm and force feeding you to eat grade A, USDA approved shit)

These labels mean nothing.

I would. Please point me to the nearest FDR-style liberal in this race (and none of this Regan-lite crap), and I'm there.
