Well i have to say that these are not half as bad as I was expecting! Arnel really kicks ass on some of these, check em out!.....

Forgot to say earlier, I saw a commercial for the tour last night. Toward the end, the advertised Revelation being available at Walmart, etc. When they showed Journey it had the rerecords.

HATE IT! HATE IT! (There's the All Caps thing :lol: ) Not Arnel, he's a great singer. And not this thread. I'm talking about the re-records. This kind of thing only invites more AP vs SP internet wars. I just caught a whole bunch of youtube singer comparisons that people put up (looks to be from AP fans). Can't believe the number of comments that said Arnel kicked SP's ass. These kinds of comments just don't make for converting Perryfans over.

not a fan of the remakes...but understand why they did it.
I would rather have live cuts instead as in the journey escape dvd with the cd and dvd that is fantastic.

I WISH THEY WOULD DO THAT FOR A REMASTERED CAPTURED.

I'd venture to say that most of those people never listened to Journey before Arnel was tapped to join the band anyway.

But I agree, it only serves to make Steve Perry's fans even more distanced from anything new the band might produce that actually deserves a listen.
