Same complaint here.
Maybe it'll be better off the actual CD.

Has absolutely nothing to do with it. The guys who run the HOF are elitists. Journey never caught establishment respect on any level, even "after all these years".

Those "elitists" would cave to Azoff and his John Holmes sized check book faster than a Euro exiting a shower if Perry ever rejoined. Cash is king, my friend. Whether they like it or not, they know that a Perry-fronted Journey would be a mega-show induction. With Perry on board, their induction is merely a phone call away.

And of course you know this because of your vast experience in the music industry and all of your insider connections, yes?

Correct.

Journey would be in the R&R HOF in about 16 seconds if demo boy ever came back. That's the only reason they're not in yet.

Well, that certainly explains Van Halen then, huh?![]()

If nothing else, all the little jabs and backhanded compliments in that GQ article should highlight this fact. The HOF guys see Journey the same way that article writer did. THAT'S why they're not now, nor will they ever, be in the HOF. Unfair? Sure, but that's reality and it has nothing to do with "demo boy" you jaded mo-fo.
