And the drums are flat as usual. That's my biggest pet peeve. When is Deen's snare gonna get some crunchy pop & thunder? When are the toms going to get some full melodic definition? Deen is such a great drummer and he needs to have his talent showcased a little better than wet cardboard thumping in the background. From what I've heard so far, all his drums are muddy and flat. And that is just wrong. I consider it a production failure.

Ya know, on second thought, I'm sure that Kevin Shirley and the band did all they could to make this album sound great. And, in their studios on high-end equipment or in some expensive home theatre, I'm sure it does sound great. But since this is a WM exclusive, perhaps the average joe copy should have been produced for the average joe stereo system. Not every car or home has a $10k system...especially not the audience of WalMart shoppers.
