Very Cool interview. Lots of positivity from Neal. Nice mention of Jeremey, though I think he got the last name wrong. I'm thinking his comments on choice of singers will spark a lot of debate here... oh boy....

But he's VERY into Arnel from everything that he's mentioning. Very cool. Thank God Neal opted for more songs on the new CD instead of just 4. THAT would've been a disapointment.

I hate Neals interviews, he is so full of shit, then he talks about his solo shit that goes nowhere, then talks shit about his girl freind that has no idea how much he is full of shit, He is a con artist, and he rambles on about nothing. he mentions Steve Ray von, he couldnt match him, mentions the Generations tour and wondered why people didnt want to hear him play a 15 min guitar lead, while Augeri s pipes were burning up from the last tour that they should have stopped Neal is retarded period sorry Nig

I think he pronounced it right....

Don't see much debate actually, I think Neal danced around a few things, but his comment about me being the closest thing to Steve Perry of anyone out there should do wonders for my booking calendar...

Dude talks out of both sides of his mouth. Everybody either looks or sounds "exactly like Steve Perry" to him. He said that about Augeri in the very beginning, too. Funny that nowhe wants people to think he choose Arnel because he DOESN'T sound that much like Perry. Huh? Geez, Neal...get your story straight before you do interviews. Yeah, right....you decided to go back to the "legacy" sound, but you chose the person who LEAST sounded like Perry to you. Ok, Neal...whatever you say.

His interviews are always a hoot. They make no sense at all.

Incorrect. Arnel can sound like Perry if he wants to, but when he sings naturally he sounds different other than being a high tenor. Neal's statements make perfect sense.

SJ, my point was that Neal makes it sound like they weren't trying to find someone that sounded like Perry. That is a mega crock of shit. He was trolling YouTube looking for Perry's twin. If he hadn't had an issue with Jeremey's wife, Jeremey would have been hired, and we wouldn't be getting the sounds-too-much-and-looks-too-much-like-Perry jive by Neal concerning Jeremey. Neal is infamous for tailoring his remarks to whatever suits his agenda at that moment.

Neal is a total professional. He just woke up and bam, he's ready to go. Always ready to work. Nice person too. Answers the phone, "hello." He could've answered what the f*ck do (you kids) want j/k. Exchanges pleasantries. Good dude.

Neal admittedly checked Pineda "singing some Survivor songs."

How long before Neal, Arnel, The Zoo and NoMoTa, Inc get the patented Frankie Sullivan Cease And Decist letter? :P

It's a natural pairing.
Aren't they both still in the Azoff stable?
