I never have understood how Deen can wear long sleeves when he plays, they always used to get in my way...not too mention long sleeves can get a bit warm during a set...

I read a quote somewhere that he does that when his arms a bit soar, it helps warm them up. Seems like he wears sweat bands, gloves, long sleeve, at the start of a show and eventually one or more comes off by the end.

Just got a phone call from 3 kwazy women who went to the taping yesterday, they were all laughing and talking at once and sill on their Journey high. They said Ellen picked AATY and Faithfully out of her 4 choices and said "WOW" while the band played. My friends were on 2nd row along with Ellen's girlfriend, during Faithfully Ellen came down and stood beside her. The crowd was into Faithfully particularly and were singing along.

The guys all looked good & sounded great - Neal was in all black with lots of bling and a chain and looked like he's been working out..of course they said he was his normal awesome self - Deen has shaved and has a new hair style & has also been working out and looked great in a more dressy shirt than he normally wears - Arnel did great and seemed to be very comfortable on stage.

They were told not to yell out a band member's name but one girl in the audience yelled 'we love you Arnel' so one of my friends yelled 'NEAL!', LOL. Nice to see Arnel getting some luvah.

They had hoped Revelation would be passed out to the audience but that didn't happen.

Great story, Bonnie. My understanding is that Revelation would have been handed out if the show had been scheduled after the release date, but wasn't due to potential piracy problems...like Arrival. I too heard the show was great. Glad the played Separate Ways rather than DSB.

So are those the ones that will air? Kind of disappointing - although I'm sure the performances were great. If these are the ones they air this is only going to enhance Journey's reputation as a ballad band...

I was hoping Separate Ways would air. Thanks for the review.
