This is sad. I used to work with a girl like this. She was from Afghanastan. I only knew her a couple months, but she was the sweetest thing. Beautiful. Just wanted to live her life. Her dad disapproved of her every move- retail job. She was absolutely crazy for N Sync and Back Street Boys. One day she came to work and said she was going back to Afghanastan for a family wedding. She said she would be back in a couple of weeks to start her second semester of community college. Only, as far as I know she never came back. I tried calling her a couple times, but her family when they answered acted as though she didn't even exist. I tried emailing her, nothing. She had a secret boyfriend. I have a feeling they found out and sent her away, or worse ... I've always wondered about her. She was a great person.
