I FIGURED IT OUT...

I've been listening to a Journey tribute that Jeremey had on his site for download...a while back. And I've figured it out.

Neal Schon commented "he sounds like him, hell he even looks kinda like him".

Look at history..

Bruce Wayne & Batman - never saw them together, right?
Clark Kent & Superman - eh?
Parker and Spidey? - See..

So...anyone Seen Jeremey and Steve Perry together? Hmmm......

Coincidence?

I Think Not!

I'd like to see Frontiers have a more visual connection to Journey, looking at pics the past few months, if you never "heard" them, you would never think it was a Journey tribute band. Maybe a better stage setup, clothes, backdrops, etc???

Yeah, because the performance is much more realistic when Hugo comes out dressed in Perry's clothes and hairdo  I don't think Jeremey's mission with "Frontiers" is a celebrity look-alike contest. There are enough clowns doing that act! He simply paying "tribute" to the music, and is fortunate enough to have a talent to be able to sing the music!

There are "tribute" bands and "clone" bands. We don't represent ourselves visually as Journey, we represent the music as Journey would perform it. There are "clone" bands out there, and Evolution is a good example of that. To each his own, as it were. Some would prefer a make-believe type show complete with costumes, etc which is fine, but not our thing.

No no no.... wigs? no... perhaps some scarab, egypt, stars, etc, backdrops, etc. Something visually to pimp the "concert" style show. Every state seems to have a Journey cover band, Frontiers is way beyond that musically so why not more of a visual show as well?

I've seen Jeremey perform many times and with each experiance, it's always about the music. I'm not interested in a Journey clone. Just keep the music real.

RE Dallas, we are going to be in Baton Rogue and New Orleans the week that Journey is in Houston and Dallas...Unfortunately the venues in DLS and HST we had lined up felt like it wouldn't be a good idea to bring us in a few days after Journey, which is understandable. We are pretty well plugged into the HOB Dallas, so when it happens I'm pretty sure that's where it will be. Houston we are kind of open on though. Hope to put these dates together by November!!
