Terrelle Pryor will never be a factor for OSU, mark my words. As far as that fucking list-ask those teams if they wanna piece of the mighty Gators right now?

Michigan just had a piece of that ass in January. How often do you want a backyard assbeating?

shit man, you caught us at a down time. Come back now...we wish you would! Michigan knows they got lucky and Coach Urban Meyer knows it too...thats wht we will be the next National Champions..and Terrelle Pryor will carry Tim Tebows jockstrap.

Kind of like how Florida caught Ohio State napping...thinking about an easy win. Took our "eye" off the ball.

Tebow...please.

41-14 isnt napping bro.....thats an ass kicking.....

Tom, I honestly respect the fact that you are a true Ohio State fan. In fact your fans are probably among the most loyal fans in College Football and you put up quite the fight. The Buckeyes has an awesome history, this I have to admit, may not like it but cant deny it. Noone on this board can. Now with all of that being said GO GATORS!!!!

Many Buckeye fans are complete assholes. Unlike Joepa recalling his many pleasant trips as a PSU fan mingling with 111,000 in Michigan. The stories of the way Michigan fans are treated in Columbus are legendary. Like one guy who dared to have a Michigan logo on his van. After the game when he returned to the parking lot the damn thing was sitting on it's roof. Not cool!

My two predictions, since I'm a Notre Dame fan:

Notre Dame will go 8-4 this year. I think the team will come around a bit after last year's monstrosity, and they do play a much lighter schedule than last year as well. I fully believe they'll be contenders in 2009 and 2010.

If Ohio State beats USC, they get to cakewalk through yet another pathetic Big Ten schedule into the National Championship game, and get their asses handed to them for the third straight year.

Which kind of sucks, since after the third week of the season, it's quite likely the rest of college football will be fighting for only one available spot in the title game, which takes some of the drama out. They really need to just ban the Big Ten from the title game until the schedule becomes less of a joke. But I suppose watching OSU become the Buffalo Bills of college football might be kind of entertaining as well.

Agreed. But, you have to understand it goes BOTH ways. Bad things have happened on BOTH SIDES.

Also, the rivalry with Michigan goes WAY DEEPER than just football...it's WAR!

PS I agree...some Buckeye fans go WAY OVER THE TOP. I don't associate with them, btw. I like to act at least semi-decent about the whole thing.

We'll see.

As a Buckeye, I relish the idea of making you eat your predictions.

Remember a certain University of Miami team that was supposedly "unbeatable". Remember what a "slow, plodding" Ohio State team did to them in the desert??

You assume ALOT about TOSU not being able to compete. Last year, they competed...just shot themselves in the foot with too many stupid unsportsmanlike penalties at CRUCIAL points in the game. Cost them the game. Look at the stats, recall the game...it was not like the Florida "blowout". Not by a long shot!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!

Against Arkansas????

Yep, nobody Arkansas ripped LSU a 'new one' last year.
Good for us.
Good for them.

I still think Tebow is a pu$$y though.

later~

I can no longer show any support for the Razorbacks. I hope they do poorly. No offense to the school but I hate Bobby Petrino for the shit he pulled on the Atlanta Falcons. The lies, the seediness... he is a snake Arkansas, and I hope your school understands that he will do the same shit to you guys that hes done to Louisville and Atlanta. When he does then I can pull for you guys again.

Honestly, I don't know what Petrino did to the other places. Seems that he did bail on Louisville, but hey, he got offered from the NFL. I'd go too. When he got to Atlanta, they sucked & Vick went to jail. And, he personally clashed with the pros. He's a fatherly disciplinarian type. The pros didn't like him. He's a better fit in college. Arkansas was getting desperate because of the Houston Nutt debacle, so they grabbed Petrino while they could.

The Razorbacks are in somewhat of a rebuilding year with losing their backfield to the NFL, so if they get two decent years out of Petrino, then so be it. I really think he'll be around for awhile because where else could he go? Yeah, there are obviously bigger name schools, but this is the SEC (toughest/best conf) and he's got millions on his contract. Besides, I'm sure he's aware of the all the bad PR baggage he carries. He's also got Ryan Mallet transferring from Michigan. He's got potential to really light up the scoreboard with Petrino's style of offense.

We'll see...

Btw, I hope Mitch Mustain gets some field time and does well at USC. Houston Nutt screwed him in Fayetteville. He's a great QB.

Last year's game was less embarassing than the year prior, but still wasn't even as close as the score indicated. OSU took some stupid penalties, but were still massively outplayed, giving up 30 straight points to LSU. The statistics might have been kinder by the end of the game, but they were pretty soundly defeated, even without some of those penalties. They clearly can't compete at that level, the problem is both years they didn't have any regular season contests to prove that to anyone, so they slipped into the championship game both times, and I'd wager it could happen again this year if they beat USC.

Excuse me but...isn't beating USC (at USC) "playing at that level"????!

Give me break. they were beaten last year but, if a couple of timely stupid penalties didn't happen...things may not have "steamrolled" like they did. Momentum is a BIG DEAL in college football!

BTW, coming from a ND fan...do you really want to talk about "playing at that level"????

hahaha

Oh, my team got killed on a weekly basis. But this isn't about ND.

But beating one good team and a pathetic-to-mediocre string of Big Ten opponents does not make a championship-worthy team. (even ignoring the loss to Illinois) Yes, momentum is huge, but a team worthy of playing in that game knows how to regain that momentum before giving up 31 straight points. That wasn't momentum, that was implosion.
