Probably harder to estimate. IIRC, it wasn't until the Eagles that Walmart actually started reporting.

iam seeing REO on Weds with LRB for rockthefloods in Des Moines. All proceeds are going to the people of Iowa whos homes were destroyed by the floods.

REO Speedwagon released April 3rd, 2007. The Eagles released October 30th 2007.

Last I heard the REO album was certified "cork" for sales of more than 10. It's a joke, lighten up, I actually have the album and like it. It's about 100 times better than "Building the Bridge" IMHO.

LOL. In all seriousness though, I heard it was closer to 400K. I went looking for it yesterday but didn't find one on the shelf. Did get a Revelation though (finally).

In all honesty, I wonder how much the record labels are peeing their pants over "Walmart deals". They sell for less, pay the artist more money, promote more and don't seem to screw 'em over like the labels. Following REO, Journey and the Eagles, wanna bet more artists are now looking at that channel?
