Lou back with Foreigner?

Postby fbnl » Wed Jul 23, 2008 1:40 am

A co-worker of mine said that Lou was back with Foreigner, any news of this? They played a show with Bryan Adams in Atlanta, and he was not inside the venue, put parked outside on his bike listening, and he said they introduced Lou and said this is the second show he's sang with the band. Just curious.............

Sounds like you got bullshitted, bro.

Lou Gramm's doing a Christian Rock album...due out this year, if it's not already out. And from all I can tell, Foreigner is very happy with Kelly Hansen...they just released a new single....which, to me...sounds SCARILY like classic foreigner...I've asked around before making this post, to some people who know people, etc, and much as I'd love to see it, this one just didn't happen. Sorry bro..

That would be a no. Kelly was with the band last night in Florida as well as the other shows last week, not Lou.

I think SOME day it will happen, but not now.

They're enjoying somewhat of a mini renaissance now w/ Hansen I've yet to see a bad review, they now have 2 new songs out....

I just did an interview with Kelly Hanson last week and he gave no indication that he was going anywhere. In fact, I asked him, "Is this now Foreigner?" and he said, "Absolutely". I realize things in the rock world turn on a dime, but he was pretty solid and excited.

Well, Unless my eyes are decieving me, and Lou Gramm lost 50 pounds and 20 years...that was Kelly Hanson last night...and a DAMN fine job he does too...

Thanks guys, I honestly did not believe it was true, because if it was, it would have been posted. My co-worker got it wrong, but like I said, he was not inside the venue, just eavesdropping from outside. I actually saw Kelly with the band last year on the Def Lep tour, or maybe it was the year before that, time runs togehter, but anyway, I liked Kelly as the lead and thought he did a really good job!!
