Rock with bite

Postby StoneCold » Sun Aug 10, 2008 5:43 am

Post rock you think has an edge, a bite. Whatever you wanna call it. That sound that just grabs and won't let go.

One of the best bands for this.

Scorpions - Rhythm Of Love

this is the kinda shows I would go to...IMO THE most underrated band maybe of all time...the ORIGINAL Marshall Tucker Band...talk about a sound that couldn't be mimicked...

High school boyfriend used to sneer at this one; said GFR had become commercial sellouts and made chick music.

Lone Justice-"I Found Love"
80's tune with a bite...used to love Maria Mckee's big voice-- a bit Dolly/Aretha-esque.
So much talent, but never given or wrote great material to work with.

Valentine - No Way

Hugo's voice with Adam Holland's hard edged guitar does it for me.
